I have a great relationship with my sister, at least I’d like to believe I do. We text very often and chat regularly. It means a lot to me that I have a close relationship with her since we’re the only family members (core family) close to each other by proximity.

We had our annual visit where she visits me. Our tradition during the visit—jigsaw puzzle. This year, we were able complete two, only because they’re smaller than our usual 2000-piece puzzle. I got two jigsaw puzzles ready for us and we were able to finish the two 1000 pieces in 3 nights. It was a pretty good feat. The first one was the image at the beginning of the post and the second one was a Harry Potter puzzle, both are square puzzles, which was really weird for me, because I like the normal, traditional puzzle. The wolf puzzle has weird pieces, which wasn’t really fun. Some people like them, but there’s honestly less challenge because of the quirky shapes than if it was the regular puzzle pieces.

Jigsaw puzzle is one of my favorite hobbies, though with the time I spend in that hobby, one would think it’s not. I enjoy it as a hobby because I can truly zone out with my own thoughts undisturbed. There was a time many years ago during my sister’s visit, we did a 3000-piece puzzle. That was one heck of a fun time. I doubt we’ll have a chance with another one, but time will tell. For my next one, I have a 3000-piece puzzle that is themed Where’s Waldo? and that’ll definitely be a fun one.
